Περιγραφή Μαθήματος
This course on Research Methodology is primarily aimed at Plasma Physics and Applications Master students. It is also hoped to be useful for other individuals who would like to understand the basic principles and undertake Plasma Physics research. There is a strong belief that it will serve as a guideline for undergraduate electronic engineering and physics students as they are required to identify the most important problems and terminology on plasma physics research work. The course is devoted to giving basic definitions of important terms and characteristics of research in laser-plasma physics research. The basic chapters covered among others are: Basic Fourier Maths and Fourier Optics, Analog and Digital Signal Processing, Application of Lasers in Secondary Sources, Building Scientific Apparatus, Dynamic Interferometry and Dynamic Imaging Interferometry, Femtosecond Laser Plasma, Plasma spectroscopic tools, Index of Refraction Plasma Diagnostics, Vacuum Technology
