One guitar band enables the player of an acoustic or classic guitar to produce a mix containing all the basic elements of a rock band and particularly a percussion layer, a bass layer and of course guitar layers. Interaction becomes possible through the use of a conventional MIDI foot switch controller that passes commands to the main software. One guitar band is built upon the logic of a looper that employs different modes of operation. By switching between modes in the looper the user can separately program the drums, the bass and the guitar layer. Moreover, the system offers various mechanisms of sound modulation through which the user can produce additional sound layers to enrich his/her performance.
